We practice Integrative dry needling which is not acupuncture (traditional Chinese medicine). It is based on neuro-anatomy and modern scientific study of the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems. An acupuncture needle is inserted through the skin and into the deeper tissues that are considered "trigger points" to your pain. Dry needling works by causing a micro lesion within the affected tissue thus breaking up the trigger point, normalizing the inflammatory response, and mediating the pain as close to the source as possible. This mechanical and neuromuscular effect provides an environment that enhances the body’s ability to heal which ultimately reduces pain. A dry needling exam is required prior to the first dry needle treatment. Additional fees may be applied depending on therapies administered.

Shockwave

Shockwave therapy is intended to reduce muscle pains and aches, increase blood flow temporarily, and activate connective tissue. We use the shockwave device to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal diagnosis through radial pressure wave forms. A chiropractic exam is required prior to booking this form of treatment. Additional fees may be applied depending on therapies administered.
